Was founded as a website and physical archive to collect directional maps that people draw for one another at a time when digital technology was rapidly making these maps unnecessary. Over time, the project grew to include a wide variety of hand-made maps as well diagrams and other drawings related to place. The project was maintained from 2008-2011.
